Hi, I’m Alisa, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at CRM Counseling, Life Coaching, and Wellness, under the supervision of Clara Monroe, LPC-S.
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self, without judgment or having to have everything figured out first. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I want my clients to feel heard and understood while also leaving therapy with practical tools they can actually use in their everyday lives.
I primarily enjoy working with adults, while also supporting adolescents and children, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and the many changes that come with different seasons of life. I also have a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into motherhood.
Counseling changed my own life, which is a big part of why I chose this field. I know how meaningful it can be to have someone sit with you in the hard moments while helping you find your way through them. Whether you’re working through something that happened years ago, struggling with what’s happening right now, or simply feeling stuck and ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I hold a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Houston and a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University.
I offer both in-person and virtual counseling and would be honored to be part of your journey.
